Please note: This series has been cancelled due to a time conflict. I sincerely spologize for this unexpected turn of events.
The Practice of Wearing Skin: Spiritual Questions of Living While Dying March 6-April 10, 2022 4:00-5:15pm (EST) via ZOOM *This series is part of the national 2022 ReImagine Festival www.letsreimagine.org
It's a paradox, isn't it, this human life contained in the confines of a body that lasts for such a limited period of time?
The great, late Buddhist teacher Stephen Levine will loosely guide our time together through his compelling work A Year to Live, his practice of living as if he had only one more year to experience his life.
We'll start our time together with some questions for personal and shared reflection that emerges from chosen themes of Stephen's book, followed by a quiet time of contemplative silence and pondering(which could include artmaking or writing) before we gather together to share what has risen up within us.
