Words Emerging: A Lexicon of Being
An interactive salon of words, dialogue and creative response for the (spiritually) curious
Clearly, we are struggling to find language that gives voice to our most
authentic challenges of being human together on this planet. I am,
frankly, weary of how some of our most meaningful vocabulary of being
has been co-opted and held hostage. So, I am reclaiming my words.
I am reclaiming them in my own on-going pursuit of becoming a wise,
generous and wildly hospitable human being. Will you join me?
This multi-faceted series explores words that once had meaning but now
stale, obsolete or tainted. Some are secular words, some are from
spiritual traditions, but all are, I believe, profoundly relevant to our
deepest on-going work together.
--Each month we will gather together to unpack a new word through conversation, reflection and creative response.
--We will then continue our exploration through a private on-line group where we will continue the conversation, sharing further thoughts and musing, as well as articles, films, books and media related to this word
--and you will receive creative prompts each month from Susannah which will invite deeper personal engagement with this word and theme
