A Tree of Quotations
You are encouraged to bring favorite quotes and sayings and/or discover new favorites from the hundreds of quotes at The Nest space  Each of us will create a Tree of Love and Life, decorating it with meaningful quotes and sayings that will continue to ground us in the future.

PREVIOUSLY...June 20: I See Poetry In Your Eyes
Working through the mediums of collage, paint, fabric and writing, this session invites a differing perspective on seeing:  through the eyes of Spirit, and, in particular,  through the lense of Creator/Creating Spirit.

What is The Mending Cafe About?

Think: Fabric as vessel for reflection, imagination, memoir and story telling. The Mending Café loosely follows in the story-cloth making traditions of African-American, Native American, Hmong, Mexican, Amish and Hawaiian women, nurturing the gifts fabric offers as a timeless language of subversion and healing among women.

Sherril Willis brings her sewing and quilting expertise to the table, inviting spiritual exploration through the medium of mixed media that includes textiles.  You do not have to have any sewing, quilting or experience working with fabric.

Suggested Sliding Scale: $20-40 per session, but pay what you comfortably can.  Please do let us know you are coming: artandsoul.wm@gmail.com or call/text 413-348-2385.
