SPIRITUALI-TEA (on-line)

Questionable Conversations on the Shaping of
Community and Spirituality

Tuesdays, 10:00am-11:00am via ZOOM
4 unique-but-related sessions, join one or all

June 14-June 28
July 12-26
August 9-23
September 6-20

If you are seeking nurturing, spacious community in which to question, explore, discover or further mine the questions that form our spiritual identity, Spirituali-tea is just that space. There is no agenda, and all expressions of spirit are welcome. We chose a book to loosely guide our a conversation over a period of weeks, though this is not a "book group," but shared investigation of where our own spiritual stories intersect with those emerging in the pages of the book.

New Series Begins June 14!

I adore John O'Donohue's poem "Fluent":

I would love to live
Like a river flows,
Carried by the surprise
Of its own unfolding.

To flow. To unfold. Though words have limits, they can be helpful as we learn the (spiritual) language of flow. This series, loosely informed by Brene Brown's new book
Atlas of the Heart: Mapping Meaningful Connection and the Language of Human Experience, invites us to unfold and articulate further layers of meaning in words that we use often to describe our state of being.

An atlas is a collection of maps pointing the way to something. You could say that our spiritual lives are a form of an atlas, not of maps, but of signs, markers, guideposts, whisperings, callings, experiences we do not have words for.

In this ongoing conversation, we will explore how words of the heart and words of the soul weave themselves into one another, calling us more fully into possibility and wholeness.

Susannah Crolius will be our holder-of-the-space, though shared, fluid conversation is the norm.

This series is divided into 4 different-but-related sessions, each 3 weeks in length. You are welcome to join as many 3-week sessions as you wish to:

June 14-June 28: Turning Away From
places we go when things are uncertain, places we go when we compare, places we go when things don't go as planned

July 12-26: The Spaces Between
places we go when it's beyond us, places we go when things aren't what they seem, places we go when we are hurting

August 9-23: Connection
places we go with others, places we go when we fall short, places we go when we search for connection

September 6-20: Growth
places we go when the heart is open, places we go when life is good, places we go when we feel wronged, places we go to self-assess

You are asked to commit to the three weeks of the session or sessions you are attending to allow for community to take root. Please pre-register for the sessions you plan to attend:
artandsoul.wm@gmail.com.

Cost: A suggested offering for the series of 3 sessions is $60 ($20+ per week). If this amount is prohibitive, please offer what you comfortably and generously can. No one will be turned away due to ability to pay. Payment by Venmo or Paypal are available, as well as checks and cash.

While purchasing the book Atlas of the Heart would be helpful for this series, it is not necessary for participation.
