Journey: Altar Making to Open the Door
four week series, Saturday mornings, 9:30-12:00, March 9, 16, 23, 30
Equal parts acts of remembrance, intention setting, claiming and honoring, the careful unfolding of a found object altar over four weeks becomes prayer while weaving together personal reflection and creation with a unique and eclectic variety of materials. We will be loosely guided by Joyce Rupp's book Open the Door: A Journey to the True Self.
You do not have to be artsy or creative to work with these materials, nor "religious" in any way to find altar-making a powerful expression of the inner life. Participants will work with their own understanding of "the sacred."

Cost: sliding scale $25-$40 per session ($100-$160 for the series).
