The Poem of the One World This morning the beautiful white heron was floating along above the water and then into the sky of this the one world we all belong to where everything sooner or later is a part of everything else which thought made me feel for a little while quite beautiful myself. (Mary Oliver)
Poem of Myself: Creative Expression for Those Affected By Cancer Thursday mornings, once a month, 10:00-12:00 January 30, February 27, March 26, April 30, May 28 @The Nest Space for Art + Spirit, Northampton, MA*
Sometimes it is helpful to shift gears, pause, breathe, spend some quiet time with yourself and do a soul check-in. Whether you have a cancer diagnosis, someone close to you does, or you are care-giving someone, you are welcome into this gentle space of listening and creativity, whether writing or art making. I will provide a prompt that invites inner reflection; you come and enjoy nurturing space and all kinds of creative materials that assist you to give voice to the fullness of what you are feeling and experiencing.
There is no cost to attend this monthly event, though a donation is certainly welcome to offset the cost of supplies.
*The Nest space is located inside First Churches, up 20 steps on the second floor. Regretfully, this space is not accessible for those with mobility issues. If you would like to participate and your mobility is limited, let me know and I will arrange space for us on the accessible first floor.
