"Earth is so thick with divine possibility that it is a wonder we can walk anywhere without cracking our shins on altars." Barbara Brown Taylor, from An Altar in the World
Hallowed: An Exploration of Sacred/ Space Through Pocket Shrine Making Sunday, April 22, 1:00 - 4:00pm Beadniks, 115 Main Street, Brattleboro, VT
Hidden deep away in the basement of a shop in Brattleboro, Vermont, behind a huge locked wooden door, is an utterly magical space that not many know about. The spiritual energy in the room literally took my breath away when I stepped into it. I could have stayed for hours just basking in the power of ancient voices which were speaking through the artifacts. We will begin in this room, inhaling inspiration before we explore the meaning and necessity of sacred space through the transformative spiritual practice of creating a pocket altar/shrine.
Sliding scale: $60 - $100 Supplies and Facilitation will be provided...Fair warning: because this bead shop is an utterly amazing place, you might want to come prepared to purchase lovely little things to include in your pocket shrine
