From April 19th to 23rd spanning the week of Earth Day, come celebrate nature and arts. Find your inner story while exploring ways of caring for the planet through hands on workshops facilitated by professional artists.
The week culminates on Earth Day weekend with a combination of works by those who participate in workshops and professional performers.

BOX OF SORROWS: Offering Reverence,
Tending Grief

The enormity of our grief over species and habitat losses is immeasurable and constant. Join Altar artist Susannah Crolius as she gently guides you through a meditative and creative process of tending this grief by making a Box of Sorrows. The process of creating this box is both prayer and ritual, offering a visual way to hold the multitude of emotions that inhabit us. Eclectic, recycled materials will be provided.
Enjoy having your artwork exhibited as part of our culminating events.
About the Facilitator
Susannah Crolius, M. Div. is a spiritual director, retreat leader, artist and writer. She is the founder of the art + soul community. Susannah’s spiritual and creative life cannot be separated. Artmaking is her spiritual practice and her form of storytelling. Susannah’s found object altars and shrines mark sacred space where the deepest stories can emerge, offering quiet veneration to the fluid and surprising life of the inner spirit.
