I am an artist, writer, workshop and retreat facilitator,
spiritual companion, grief tender and a certified
Spiritual Literacy facilitor.
I live in midcoast Maine, in the sweet village of Damariscotta, with my rescue dog Lucy where I create, accompany, teach and tend as Artist-in-Residence and Director of Belonging at Inn Along the Way in Damariscotta:https://www.innalongtheway.org/.
I am deeply curious about how people imagine, language and engage their spiritual identities. For 25 years, I was an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, serving as pastor and chaplain before choosing to step away from denominational identity and institutional practice to explore more generative forms of spiritual expression and community. I founded the art + soul community of seekers and creatives, a largely virtual gathering place of hospitality for the deeper stories.
I began creating found object altars after leaving Church. Making them deepens my spiritual practice, sense of reverence and discovery of both wonder and delight. Click here to read more in my Artist Statement.
